CR&S Duu Review

CR&S Duu Review – Giorgio Sarti, Giovanni Cabassi and Roberto Pattoni, who run their 500cc Giuseppepiton, made the legendary Pattoni son: CR&S Duu is a small Italian gay who is operated by three passionate motorcycle enthusiasts. Sarti and Cabassi are both successful professionals, a member of Milan High society who share a passion for motorcycles. Pattoni still runs his late father’s store and represents a technical pillar from which CR&S Duu  started its operation. It was in 2004, when a lightweight roadster based on a tax 650cc sprung into a single life. The bicycle, called Vun, has a strong visual personality and has excellent handling qualities.

The decision from the first taste of success began to move to a much higher level of creativity and financial commitment to build the concept of the ultimate bike. In 2012, long went into production. CR&S Duu Review

CR&S Long is not a typical original from a Italy expert. It is a power cruiser with an impressive visual personality. And it’s in today’s production and built around the largest twin cylinder engine: in X wedges. In some ways, cr&s long is not anything more than a large, upper backbone frame adapted to follow the upper profile of that big piece of American artillery. The engine, and the baker Five-speed transmission (6-speed is optional) hung from it, clay in a box-shaped bun manufactured from various gauge stainless steel plates, nothing thicker than 5mm. The engine/transmission ensemble is bolted to it and The pots are connected to the steering head area of the frame by a light structure manufactured from stainless steel sheet. CR&S Duu Review

CR&S LONG DETAILS-ENGINE AND FRAME

Where a huge backbone tube bends past the head of the rear cylinder, it ends with a cross member of the same size. Aluminum plate reaches to support the rear of the engine/gearbox pan, machining from the claim bolts on either end of the cross member and finding a firm swing pivot. Made from stainless steel, a huge backbone tube doubles as a fuel tank that does not require protective internal treatment. CR&S Duu Review

One-sided swings are created with large-caliber stainless steel pipes reinforced at the top with a pyramid-shaped structure of stainless steel sheets. The top of the pyramid doubles as a low mount for a cantilever shock absorber. The front suspension features a inverted sax 48 fork (Orleans is optional), and triple clamps, axles, and Radial Mount Blake are all machined from billet aluminium. There is a 4.7 on the front wheel trip In the back 5.0. The wheel is a composite, 9 spoke design, size 3.50/17 front and 190/17 rear, wear, each with 120/70-17 and 190/55-17 Pirelli Angel Radial. The standard Brakes feature 4 Piston Radial Mount with front and floating 2 piston rear “Daisy” style rotors, front and 260mm size 320 mm. CR&S Duu Review

In X wedges, 56 degrees Vee and 117 cubic inches mil, are just arranged to work as it is shipped from the viola, Wisconsin. On its die-on, the CR&S gained a measurement of about 100 horsepower at 5100 rpm at 116.5 lb-ft of peak torque at 4300 rpm. Induction is a single throttle body fuel injection and through a typical in filter, the exhaust was developed by CR&S, but the lower abdomen resonator is silencer type. CR&S Duu Review

CR&S Long is a minimalist bike, but not a small one. It has a 62. Wheel base mainly for long engine/gearbox ensemble, this prevents the company from concentrating the main mechanical parts around the center which is located in the clean of gravity. The geometry of the steering is the state of the art, and the trail’s 24.5-degree rake and 4.3. Well shaped and nicely padded sheets have a total capacity of 3.8 gallons on the ground, in a fully sealed section at 31.5, which serves as part of the fuel tank. CR&S Duu Review

Long looks intimidating, but its claim to be a dry weight 540 pounds is very tolerable, and its riding stance reveals a very reasonable ergonomics promptly. With its original style rearset pegs and medium-width handles, the reach to grips is completely natural. The five-speed baker gearbox is a little crude, but the clutch is light. The exhaust notes are raspy and reminiscent of the 60 degree Aprilia rsv1000, which was better muffled. Staccato like 45 degrees V twin. CR&S Duu Review

This big American twin is ridiculous, with 500 rpm (yes, 500) and the amount of torque that is already available from the low pull. An over-enthusiastic takeoff causes a short spin on the rear wheel which is part of the show. The engines evenly and strongly pull past 4500 rpm and flatten. Past Appointments 5000 rpm doesn’t make sense. However, the final gear is taller because the top speed of exceeding 120 mph is easily recorded. The bike is fast and very stable and feels surefooted. My test bike was equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rossos instead of the Pirelli Angel, and it also had a finely executed Discacciati Radial Mount Caliper. Both options proved completely along the bike class. CR&S Duu Review

For its displacement, tightly mounted and offset in X wedges generate a reasonable amount of vibrations. On a positive note, the solid crankshaft is while increasing the load capacity and improving reliability and durability, you also disperse the characteristics of a particular engine architecture that disconnects the parasitic vibrations generated by the typical flexion and axial pulsation of the pressed crankshaft, which has nothing to do with nature. The plain bearings also run very softly than roller or ball bearings or needle cages. In this, the X wedge is the way ahead of the competition. CR&S Duu Review

Furthermore, its power is sufficient and can be handled for all chassis. At first, the bike feels like it goes for something that seems like the only straight, lazy steering response. Then I realized that despite the ergonomics, very encouraging line riding techniques, CR&S long loves to be thrown into the corner with more muscular, body-leaning action. At that point, the ride gets very lively and rewarding. CR&S Duu Review

But it’s not just a ride. Long should be considered as an ego-boosting appearance and a whole package that offers a tough feeling of raw torque. It means that along with the aggressive exhaust notes and solid performance of the bike, riders will feel as if he were able to tame the beast. Everything is fine and dandy, but: too much heat will cook the rider’s feet and the left corner will always come in a lot easier and more than right. CR&S Duu Review

Italy prices for bicycles start at a fraction of 40000 euros, which translates to about $54000 at the current exchange rate. If you were wondering, “long” means “2” in the Milan dialect, see, of course, to the twin cylinder engine of the bike. CR&S Duu Review
